Developing Systems Leaders
What it Takes
CSL teaches the advanced skills that help leaders build dynamic and highly effective teams capable of achieving transformational results. We work with leaders to help them 1) align their communities on a compelling vision for the preferred future; 2) develop strategies and action plans that create momentum and get results; and 3) maximize the talent within the organization through the effective development and distribution of leadership.
In the first year, leaders will:
Create asset-based learning communities with caring, inclusive environments
Develop teacher practices that build students' capacities in thinking, creating, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
Expand assessment systems to include growth measures on school improvement goals that impact culture, operational systems, student engagement and the professional practice of teachers.
